| Welcome to Jeremy Hammick's online
art gallery - this section displays his Kenyan and East African watercolours
and landscape paintings. Jeremy first started visiting and painting
East Africa over 25 years ago. He has returned every year since then,
mainly to Kenya, where he keeps his car, an old safari Range Rover,
which doubles up as a camp and studio.
He paints from life, heading off into the bush for days at a time. The sheer vastness and wildness of the landscape has proved endlessly inspiring for him and much of his working life has been taken up with exploring in watercolours the play of light across this breathtakingly beautiful place. |
